Mingalabar! Please accept my warmest wishes and regards on the very special occasion of Thingyan and Myanmar New Year. Unlike ever year, this year celebrations have had to be largely indoor, but it cannot steal from us the spirit of water festival and neither our resilience. Thingyan symbolizes the washing away of the ills and sins of the previous year in preparation for the goodness for the New Year. The goodness of the Myanmar New Year that brings new hope, new happiness and new wellbeing. I take this opportunity to wish all the members of HTOO Group family, the well-wishers and friends a very Happy Myanmar New Year.
In the given situation of COVID19 that has challenged us all to a new level of difficulty, I can understand there is a lot of inconvenience, psychological stress and fear amongst all of us. Let us not allow fear or doubts to take over, instead focus our energies on issues we can help and how we can sustain through this crisis to be better prepared for when it passes away. As we all know Myanmar has been relatively lesser impacted but that doesn’t warrant to lower our guard in any circumstance. Please stay safe, follow all guidelines and do not go outdoors without an urgent need so we can stop the spread of this deadly virus. Let us support and comply with the efforts and plans of the City, the Regional and the National level authorities helping our Nation combat this deadly crisis.
All our contribution and even compliance to the set rules will help stop the spread of the Virus. Above all it is our hope for the new year to be stronger, healthier and happier for Myanmar that will keep us in good shape and help us achieve victory over the current times.
