Myanmar Climbers reach Camp-2 of Ama Dablam Mountain, Today

Myanmar Mountaineering Team, which is currently preparing in the Nepal for Khakaborazi Expedition, and sponsored mainly by Htoo Group of Companies and Htoo Foundation, reached Camp-2 of Ama Dablam Mountain which is 6812m above sea level, today November 20th, 2017.

The mountaineering team had arrived at the Base-Camp of Mount Ama Dablam, at the date of November 18th, 2017. The Ama Dablam’s height and hardship are approximately same with the Khakaborazi, which is the highest glacier mountain of Myanmar.

They had ascended the Camp-1 on November 19th, 2017 and tomorrow, they are to ascend and achieve the Camp-3. Moreover, it is informed that the Myanmar Mountaineering Team will not take rest at the Camp-3 but they will continue their expedition to successfully reach the peak of the mountain via Camp-3 to summit vice versa summit to Camp-2 at the date of November 21st, 2017. According to their schedule, on November 22nd, 2017, they are to descend Base Camp from Camp-2. On November 23rd, 2017, they are to get Pangboche Village, where they have started their expedition.

Three Myanmar mountaineers from Myanmar Hiking and Mountaineering Federation, Ko Pyae Phyo Aung, Ko Aung Khaing Myint and Ko Zaw Zin Khaing, who will make tremendous efforts to conquer the Mount Khakaborazi in Myanmar, and are mainly sponsored by the Htoo Group of Companies and Htoo Foundation, left the Yangon International Airport for Nepal to make mountaineering practices at the Ama Dablam Mountain, 6812 m above sea level, in Nepal, at 7: 45 pm, October 23rd, 2017.

The Htoo Foundation would like to express our good wishes for the three climbers to accomplish and achieve their mission, who are preparing to conquer the Khakaborazi, which is famous and believed to be Myanmar’s highest mountain.
