Interfaith Dialogue for Peace, Harmony and Security, which is fully sponsored by HTOO Group of Companies jointly organized by Sitagu International Buddhists Missionary Academy, Vivenkananda International Foundation, Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies in association with the Japan Foundation, was successfully completed on the evening of 6th August.
The above conference was attended by the Spiritual Masters of Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism and Jainism from 30 countries and consisted of over 100 delegations.
Heads of States and religious leaders have delivered speeches and it is also known that the book on First Interfaith Dialogue Conference has also published and introduced.
The conference agenda was divided into two parts, within two days, and were discussed by religious leaders and professionals.
On the first day, the topic “Evolving A Non-conflicting Philosophical Paradigm for Conflict Avoidance, Peace & Harmony” was discussed and on the second day, the topic “Environment Consciousness For A Sustainable World” were discussed in a roundtable forum, and then “The Peace Conference Declaration” was declared.
At the closing ceremony Peace and Loving Kindness Sutta was recited. Apart from that, the summaries on discussion of respective religious leaders were briefly discussed by Vivenkananda International Foundation Director Gen. N.C. Vij.
The closing speeches were delivered by Sitagu Sayadawgyi Dr Nyanissara first, followed by Yangon Division Social Welfare Minister U Naing Ngan Lin and farewell speech by Uttar Pradesh State Governor His Excellency Shri Ram Naik.
After these, words of thanks and appreciation were provided by Retrired Ambassador U Nyunt Maung Shein of Myanmar Institute of Strategic and International Studies and Vivenkananda International Foundation Director Gen. N.C. Vij respectively.
As per agenda, Professor U Kyaw Soe Lwin of Sitagu International Buddhists Missionary Academy has read out Peace Declaration and Interfaith Dialogue for Peace, Harmony and Security- Second Conference was successfully completed.
