At the SEA Games National Football Group (A) held in Malaysia, Myanmar Team has won with 2-0 goals to Singapore Team, and for their success, HTOO Group of Companies Chairman U Tay Za has awarded US $ 10,000 to them.
On 13th August 2017, HTOO Group of Companies Chairman U Tay Za has been to Malaysia, together with Myanmar Football Federation Patron U Aung Ko Win, Myanmar Football Federation Chairman U Zaw Zaw, Myanmar Football Federation Vice Chairman U Pyae Phyo Tay Za(YUFC Chairman) and on yesterday morning they all went to Federal Hotel, where the Myanmar footballers are residing, to encourage them for their success in SEA Games, together with responsible persons.
On the afternoon of August 14, 2017, the football match was taken place at Selayang Stadium near Kuala Lumpur, and during playing the match with Singapore team, double from Myanmar striker Aung Thu has put a serious dent in Singapore’s hopes of qualifying from their group, and that has made the preliminary success a beautiful one for Myanmar U-22 team.
The aim of the Myanmar Team is to become Champion, so they cannot be satisfied only with this preliminary success, but have a long way to try harder in the future. Since they have won Singapore team by 2-0, they become more trusted in themselves for the upcoming matches, as explained by Myanmar U-22 Team Coach Gerd Zeise at the post-match press conference.
At that match, there were about 4000 football fans, as the Myanmar people, who are residing in Malaysia and Singapore came to encourage them.
