Employees of HTOO Group of Companies conduct rainy season tree planting in the protected forest of Banbwegon Dam

In collaboration with the Forestry Department, the HTOO Group of Companies conducted a rainy season tree planting in the protected forest of Banbwegon Dam, near Nyaung Wine village, Kyauktan Township, Yangon Division, on the morning of June 19th, 2020.

Annually, the staff from the Business Units and Functional Units of HTOO Group of Companies altogether conduct the rainy season tree planting and during this year, 3000 various species of shady tree had already been planted now.

In the protected forest of Banbwegon Dam, a patch of 3 acres of land, 800 of Lagerstroemia speciosa, 900 of Mahogany, 600 of Pterocarpus macrocarpus and 700 of Acacia mangium had been planted, putting 6 feet distance from each other.

The forest department would take care to cultivate the trees systematically. We had understood that the department would also take care of the trees to be planted successfully and sustainable.
