Donations at Hseikphutaung Monastic School to mark the 11th anniversary of HTOO Foundation

After Cyclone Nargis has devastated in Ayeyawaddy Division, HTOO Foundation was immediately established by HTOO Group of Companies Chairman U Tay Za with four vice-chairman, and it has been eleven years exactly on 5th May 2019.

As per instructions from HTOO Foundation Patron U Tay Za, Chief Executive Officer U Paw Myint Oo and the group has gone to Hseikphutaung Monastic School in Kyaikhto Township, Mon Division and offered “soon” with donations of stationaries such as 200 dozens exercise books, ball pens, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, correction pens etc. worth of kyats 7 lakhs. Apart from these donations, cash kyats 11 lakhs was also donated to the Hseikphutaung Chief Monk Aggamahar Thaddhamma Zawtika Zaybhaddanda Zawtika as monetary fund deposit for the welfare of the monastic school.

The above mentioned was established in 1981 by Sayadaw U Zawtika and has started accepting children of all nationalities  all over the whole country, who became orphans due to parents who are not affordable or disowned or who are internally displaced. The school has started with 270 students and 17 teachers, which has now become to 400 – 500 students during the school opening season.

HTOO Foundation has donated Kyats 1000 lakhs previously as monetary fund deposit for the future of this monastic school.
